I finally saw Brian Vernor's Pure Sweet Hell, what a great representation of cyclocross and what a cool movie! I liked the clips of the old school 70s races, talk about hard core. I can't wait till Cyclocross Meeting comes out on DVD. Barry Wicks looks like a giant compared to the Japanese riders...

Oh man!!! That CX course at the Superprestige Diegem is EXACTLY what we need in Michigan!!!

Mud, sand, cobbles, a paved section that ran right through a narrow alley way, all downtown in some Belgian village and then AT NIGHT!!!!

WOW!!!!

If you thought the orange crush was big, check out this RAMP! This is the USOC BMX track. It was built by the same guy that built the BMX track for the Beijing Olympics and both tracks are identical. The start ramp is 4x bigger than the orange crush and just as steep, PLUS - at the bottom there's a 40 degree jump the kids hit:

Final heat of the Jr Development Program at the Chula Vista CA Olympic Training Center BMX track. These kids were FLYING!!!!

Thanks for the links Jeff! Always looking for more cross vids and these are cool. I'll repost it a little later, but for those that haven't hung it up completely remember the Versluis Snow Cross over here in GR on Jan 16. It's always big fun. Also word that there might be a Valentine Day race at the same location, plus a cycling film festival. More later.

And if it's footage in Dutch or Flemish, it doesn't matter. I have a wind trainer and it's so loud I can't hear a damn thing any way!

Greetings everybody. I hope the off season is treating you well. Does anyone know where to get good cyclocross DVDs? I know there's a handful of US races/cyclocross DVDs but does anyone know where to get euro world cup dvds? I'm gonna be laid up for 2-3 months confined solely to the trainer. I'm having surgery on Tuesday to repair the ligament I tore in my thumb at States and I gonna need something to watch...
