Hi Gary,

Last year I remember seeing some of the Two Wheel Tango riders wearing tutus(sp?) during the C race and as I was watching the B race I saw a guy wearing a purple skin suit with underwear on the outside held up by suspenders...

I think the official costume race is later though?

Does anybody know what's going on with the Vets Park race on Saturday? Is the race costume-mandatory? Or is the race like normal (spandex the standard dress code) and there's a costume ride later?

Maybury was crazy... I'm kinda a crappy mountain biker, so it was a hellish course for me. But it sure was fun to get a little muddy, crash a bit (ok, a lot...) and work on my technical skills. Oh, and the Liberty Street Porter after the race sure didn't hurt!!

Nice photo-chopping Joe. Sorry, but I actually call guys like John, Tim & Mike a good friends & we root for each other when were out of town no matter the outcome. Yea, we want to beat each others head in out there racing but we leave that on the course...plus, were too busy putting Michigan on the cyclocross radar & USGP podium to dislike each other.

Man, if you think that's racing, you should see the battle in the last third of the field in the "C" race. We are modern day gladiators with no more than 30 meters separating us! So, it looks like we'll catch a break in the weather tomorrow at Maybury; looking forward to it. Should be a nice venue, but i don't think they allow old trucks like mine in Northville.

You know what we need??? A good ole' fashion RIVALRY! After a finish like this back in 2006 you'd think we'd be hearing from Wizz and Wienert all the time about how they dislike each other. Are these guys friends? I tell you what, I think Vet Park is gonna be a rumble this year!!!
