I'm probably not objective, by for pure character, that "Mad Anthony CX" course is going to BLOW AWAY every other CX race in Michigan, hands down......

Cool! Cool! and More Cool! Good info everyone. As for CX practice, I have practice every thursday at Palmer Park near the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron. I am boucing back n forth between shifts at work right now, so go to www.teamsandbag.com go into the "lets plan a ride" forum and check out the times.

Tom I know a bunch of dates were bounced around. I let Robert know, not sure if he can change it or not.

Joe sounds really cool. A few years ago Robert was looking at the old Fort Wayne site not sure why he didn't go with it. Looks like a really cool site from the photos I have seen.

Two new 'Cross races in Michigan this year:

Saturday, October 17th "Mad Anthony CX" at Detroits old Fort Wayne!
- This will be the most unique setting for a CX race in Michigan, 170 year old cobbles, a 50m TUNNEL, a Sherman tank as an obstacle, all with the Detroit skyline as background. This will also be the ONLY bicycle race in the city of Detroit in over 5 years!!!

- Saturday, October 24th, Maybury Cyclocross. Held at Maybury State Park, the course will be run on the grounds of the old state hospital. Single-track, bike path and grassy commons.

Sept 13th is the same day as the Addison Oaks XC race.

Thursday the Rhinos lead a fast paced gravel road ride from Kinetic's and everyone is welcome.
It is a DROP ride, so you need to know the roads or have a map which we have available.

Yep the clinic is open to all. I'll get more imfo and post it.
I'm sure it won't be the very portable. I know Robert has a commercial builder doing the work. The work on the stairs has started, so time will tell.
