Current Bike Collection:
I just bought a new Motobecans FantomCross. I feel like I took a gamble on the bike, so Ill let everybody know my opnion soon as I figure it out. Give me a month and ill post it in a new blog.

Meanwhile...

I have a 1994 Dimondback road bike that I have tried to keep in good shape. Its got down tube shifters :( and needs lots of upgrads:( My passion is offroad... SoI tried to compensate for by getting some Armidillos and using lots of slime. It works mostly well. But a good CX bike would make my day.

Fantom Cross

I finally bought a Motobeacans Fantom Cross. I spent $799 from bikesdirect.com. I have traveled about 50 miles thus far, and have a few things to say:



1) The bike is pretty good. I got the 64cm model, and don’t have any rubbing on my shoe like allot of the other riders are saying.



2) I bought some plastic strap-in pedals. I thought that I had them secure today (my 2nd ride). I was feeling SuPer pUmPeD this afternoon, and started slaying away at the miles across rural CA.… Continue
