Hey all,

I would like to get some input where tread is needed more, front or rear.

I have two different tubular tires: Challange Fango 32 and Tufo Primus 32.

IMO the Fango looks like it is slightly more aggressive. Would that be the better choice for the front wheel or vice-versa? Anyone else race with two different tires?

Thanks!

Fango rear. It's actually the less aggressive tire. A lot of people go with a similar set up for courses that have some loose corners but otherwise offer good traction in a straight line.
agreed. fango rear, primus front. you'll get good acceleration and better cornering

Thanks,

I asked around today during a ride and everyone has agreed, Primus/Front : Fango/Rear.

Good Call.
