I've got a yellow reynolds 853 frame by DEAN. I think the top tube is just shy of 56cm. I can measure to be sure. I have never ridden it - it was the second half of a purchase at a bike swap and was never used by me.

It's got some issues. Mainly rust. I can't tell whether it can have a long life ahead of it. The previous owner let it rust enough that the bottom bracket cable guide bolt seems like it rusted out (plastic glue-on ones are cheap).

It'd probably have to be sanded to determine the rust extent, and have to be repainted. if you paint your own bikes or have cheap access to a painter, it could be a worthwhile gamble. By the bottle cages mounts, the rust wants to flake off.

Mostly cuz I have a hard time throwing away anything, and think it might have a life, I'll send it to you for only shipping charges if you get a friend to subscribe to our mag. I can take pictures beforehand if you want to see it.

Hey I'm interested for sure. Where are you at? I'm up in Canada. I've got a wack load of parts to spin it into a singlespeed....and .....a welding buddy with a paint shop.

Let me know if its still out there.
Hey Andrew could ou send me a couple pics please.
sure, let me try to snap a pic in the next few days. I coincidentally looked at it today and saw it's campy seatpost is stuck too - prob a sign that the rust is bad. CA shipping may be nuts though - have any friends in the US near the border?
Hmm..have a look at it and see if thatpost can come out maybe. Throw a flashlightdown there. If it is really bad the cost of getting it here might not be worth it. But, if not bad, might be worth it.
just cheked another forum and any bike parts coming from the states (especially product of USA) are exempt from duty the only thing that I would pay would be GST. I'm not sre how that works with an old frame. Any idea what year?
