Just got my new wheels and I would like to put a couple layers of glue on them while I wait for the tires to show up. I still need to stretch the tires when they show up... Is this going to be a problem w/ the dried glue on the rims?

it could pose a problem as tubie glue always stays a little tacky and the stretching tire might stick to it. you can stretch tires on clincher rims. its not ideal but it does work. just make sure you clean the rim to prevent any contamination.
I've stretched tires on rims with old glue and it does stick, but not enough that you can't peal it off rather easily
Simply inflate tires to max psi by themselves.. not on a rim
