Hi gang.
We are not using our hardtails much anymore and we thought we would replace them with cross bikes when we travel in the motorhome. Looks like with a change of tires we can go from the pavement to dirt roads without too much compromise.
We will probably use the components from our back up road bikes. As I understand stand it we will only need to change out the brakes and of course tires.
Looking for nice ti or carbon framesets in 51-52 tt for Michelle and 57-58 tt pour moi.
Thanks
Dan

I have a 52cm Ridely X-Ride (Aluminum) but for a CX frame it doesn't get much better.  I also have a great set of components (non drive-train) as well (Deda Stem, Bar, Tohmson Post, FSA SL-K Brakes) .  All are new in box and untouched. I was planning on building this up to race this 2011 season, but am now leaning on just sticking with my present ride for a season or w longer till I feel I am justified in upgrading my CX bike.  If you are interested we can go from there.

Thanks, Ian.

But we are not racing and are looking for more compliance in a frameset.

Not that your aluminum Ridely isn't comfy. Just sayin.

BTW

We were looking at the 2011 carbon Ridley. The bottom bracket is so high we wouldn't be able to stand over the TT without serious discomfort.

Hi - this isn't carbon but I figured I would ask. I have a 2011 Scott CX Team frame set. Virtually new, it has maybe 250 mainly road miles. It is a large which equates to a 56.

How much is the team frame selling for?

I'm asking $450 plus shipping.

It also includes the Scott handlebar, seatpost, and stem.

I'm planning on putting up an ad this weekend with a few pictures.
