Clydesdale Nationals? Questions about this race!!!

So on this very website is news that at 8 pm on Saturday December 12, there will be an unofficial CLYDE Universe Championship race.

Can anyone shed light on the details. 8 PM? Under lights? Or is this a joke and really a beer drinking party? Is it on the nationals course?

This is some of the best news ever--so I hope nobody's pulling my horse-leg!
