FS: Major Tom, White Industries Disc wheelset with Dugast Smallbird Tires

Velocity Major Tom, White Industries MI6 Disc wheelset.  24 hole/28 hole rims with DT competition spokes laced 3 cross.  Skewers and SRAM 1070 cassette included.  135mm rear spacing.  Dugast small bird tires front and rear, tires only raced 2 times.  Wheelset only raced 6 times.  around 1750 grams for the wheelset.  The rear tire does have caffe latex in it, but it holds air and I have raced on it. Doesn't include rotors.

Off topic, but how did you like the small birds as compared to rhinos and typhoons?

They have a very similar thread pattern to the Rhinos shape wise, but it is pretty short.  In a straight line they are fast like a file thread, but corner better than a typhoon.  If the knobs were a little taller it would be a great all around tire, but in loose material or tall grass they don't do as well as the typhoon/rhino.  They really shine in packed dirt or wet tacky grass/light mud.  I wish the typhoon had a progressively taller thread as it gets sketchy diving really deep into a corner. Like all Dugast tires they are pretty pressure sensitive.

Agree about the typhoons tread.  If Challenge comes out with a team edition for the chicane available to the public, I will not hesitate to try it over the typhoon next season.

Sorry to derail your selling thread, enjoy the free bumps.
